Our life would be unbelievable without the use of electrical energy. The growing utilizations of the electrical energy is a decisive prerequisite for a rapid development of industry and agriculture. The branch of electrical engineering mainly deals with the generation, distribution and utilization of electrical energy. As electrical energy is required everywhere, opportunities for electrical engineers exist in every sphere of modern life, from manufacturing to process industries from automobile to transport, from aviation to navigation.

The role of an Electrical Engineer includes; assessing the maximum demand of electrical power, designing and calculating a prospective electrical installation etc. They may work on the design of electrical power, designing and calculating a prospective electrical installation etc. They may work on the design of electrical circuits, electrical machines, generation, and distribution of electrical power, electrical drives and controls for various applications of electric power stations, the lighting and wiring of buildings, the design of household appliances or the electrical control of industrial machinery.
